Rod Seals
Rod seals are dynamic seals fitted in the gland or head area of a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder, where the rod exits the housing. Their primary job is to retain pressurized fluid inside the system while helping block external contamination from entering along the rod.
Rod seals are among the most critical sealing elements in a cylinder because leakage to atmosphere directly affects performance, cleanliness, and reliability.
At 3D Seals, we offer rod sealing solutions designed for dependable sealing under pressure, continuous cycling, and varied industrial operating conditions. We provide the most extensive range of Rod Seals in terms of profiles and materials combination to achieve optimal thermal, mechanical and physical properties required for different applications. These include standard as well as specialized Rod Seals, for specialized applications and maintenance.
